Breeders and new puppy owners are puzzled and heartbroken – their vaccinated puppies are contracting Parvo Virus and wiping out entire litters. Was the vaccine diluted? Had it gotten warm and lost its potency? Was this a new and hotter strain of the virus that the vaccine did not cover? NO! Vaccines do not protect, they do not immunize! In fact, they do just the opposite – they compromise the immune system and set the body up for disease – vaccinated animals become more susceptible to the very dis-ease/virus they are supposed to be protected from!
Vaccines do NOT, can NOT Immunize
I worked as a licensed veterinary technician for quite a few years and witnessed puppies come in with parvo virus – weekly. The majority of these puppies had been vaccinated at least once and most had received all three and sometimes four “puppy shots”. Nine out of ten times these puppies were violently ill and had to be hospitalized, set up with IVs and isolated. They would be in our care for two or three weeks sometimes if they did not succumb to the virus and die in the first week; which sadly, most of them did. The occasional puppy that came in with parvo that had never been vaccinated was always treated on an out-patient basis where they were strong enough to just receive subQ fluids (just under the skin on the nape of the neck) two or three times a day and would go back home after receiving the fluids and come back in the next day for more and go home again for the night. These un-vaccinated puppies were rarely, ever as sick as the vaccinated ones and almost always recovered in a matter of four or 5 days.
When the body is exposed to a virus naturally, via its first line of defence, which is the Th1 level of the immune system, (the mucous membranes in the nose, mouth and lungs) the immune system is quickly able to recognize the virus as an enemy and mount a strong defense against it before it ever reaches the blood stream – Natural Immunity!
However when a virus (and a myriad of toxic chemicals, heavy metals, etc.) is introduced to the body “un-naturally”, via an injection into the blood stream, totally by-passing the immune system’s first line of defence it is a “surprise attack” on the second line of defence; (called the Th2 level of the immune system) which is very distressing to the body.
Vaccines are repeated “back-door assaults” on the Th2 level of the immune system which “flips the switch” and then cause the body to become hyper-sensitive indefinitely and compels it to react inappropriately from then on to other normally harmless substances; the result is a generation of pets with damaged immune systems who suffer from: food and environmental allergies, asthma, IBD, shortened life spans and increasingly more life threatening auto-immune disorders and cancer.
“By vaccinating every individual animal and not allowing it to develop its own immunity, we are effectively preventing the passing of the immunity to the future generations. A vaccine is always made from the most virulent form of the virus since pharmaceutical companies jump on the wagon as soon as the disease appears and the level of fear is at its highest. While in nature this virus would have mutated into a less virulent form, it does not do so in the vaccine. Generations of animals are therefore injected with the worst form of the virus and stripped of their natural immune response which would have been passed onto subsequent generations. What is passed forward instead is deformed DNA, and the destruction of the species must ensue. Vaccinated mothers do not pass on herd immunity, which then puts pups in greater danger of contracting disease while they are very young. By attempting to save the individual animal, we are effectively destroying the species. A healthy species is able to survive without human interference and we are taking that ability away from our animals.” ~ Dr. Aleksandra Mikic, author of the book Immune Doggie
