SALMONELLA! Natura Pet Products expands Pet Food Recall!

Hello?  Is anyone listening?  Does anyone see that no processed pet food is safe from some kind of contamination?
The pet food industry along with the veterinarians they “trained” in so called nutrition have been trying to tell us that feeding our dogs (and cats) a raw meat, bone and organ diet is dangerous because it may contain salmonella or some other “bad bacteria”!

Please note though that the majority of pet food recalls are due to “possible salmonella contamination” have in processed, dry, kibble diets!

You faithful readers know where I stand on feeding our pets a diet as close to nature intends as possible and that is not and never will be anything cooked, let alone processed or anything containing non-species appropriate ingredients that are found in EVERY bag of kibble and every can of garbage; irregardless of the manufacturer or what ingredients the recipe for the food started out with.  Kibble is kibble is STILL kibble

These pet foods being recalled due to possible salmonella contamination are being recalled mainly so that we human’s don’t contract the bacteria ourselves. However, if we handle meat (whether cooked or raw) properly and practice good hygine the risk is minimal.

Healthy carnivores (yes, dogs are truly carnivores) are designed with a certain amount of salmonella happily co-existing in their digestive system designed to prevent that happy co-existence from getting out balance.
